How many hours have you spent at the library, studying for a major test? Did you try sleeping with the book that has the answers, praying that you would get it by osmosis?
Wisdom is not found in talking to an owl, like Mr. Peabody in the Bulwinkle and Rocky cartoons. Nor is it with your peers, who tell you that you only live once. You can learn something from the senior members of society and your family, but real wisdom comes from above.
As we get older, notice the gray hairs, and wonder what the future holds, as long as we know who holds the future, we can continue to take things one day at a time.
